We were responsible for coming up with ways to convey the Director’s vision through visual storytelling. In essence, the work consisted of creating non-physical replicas of the set locations, finding interesting camera angles and animating the characters in the environments. The previs was used on set to inform crew and others on the placement of cameras, actors and assets, and their movement, and so on, and later to inform the post-production stage. In addition, the previs informed the planning and management of the film project’s costs during both stages (principal photography and post-production).
